I grew up in Monroe and graduated from ULM with a Master’s Degree in Music. My husband, Jim and I lived in Delhi for 28 years before moving back to Monroe in 2001. We have a daughter and son-in-law, Tonja and Frederick Huenefeld and seven grandchildren, Thomas, Maggie, Hannah, James Calvin, Emma, Sadie and Abby Huenefeld. We also have two sons, James and John.
I taught piano and voice lessons for over 30 years. While in Delhi, I was the music director for the Delhi Presbyterian Church for 25 years. I also worked with the women’s, children’s and youth ministries, touring with our youth choirs for several years and presenting seasonal programs with our children and our adult choirs. Organization and administrative abilities were the keys to working with so many age groups.
I am a life member of the winner’s circle and a top producer at John Rea Realty having been awarded the Bronze award for achievement in 2005, 2007, 2008 and the Silver award in 2006. I have also been a recipient of the Spirit Award and the Servant Award.
My husband, Jim has been a real estate broker since 1976. My son, James is also a realtor and an appraiser. Real estate is a familiar field for this family!
